The high quality natural wood grain and beauty comes through in each board.  You'll find all our wooden cutting boards and butcher blocks to be functional, beautiful, durable, and a great addition to your kitchen. These boards and blocks are 100% made in the USA! You won't find stains, paints, or veneers on our cutting boards or blocks. We only clear finishes and treatments. The finishes and treatments we use are selected with food safety and handling in mind. Our pieces are functional works of art!

Our wood comes from managed forests in Vermont and includes these hardwoods:

• Walnut
• Hard Sap Maple
• Bird's Eye Maple
• Curly Maple

Taking care of you new wooden cutting board or butcher block is easy!

1. Wash with soap and water after each use.
2. Dry your board immediately after washing.
3. Do not wash your board or block in the dishwasher.
4. Do not use bleach.
   
5. Rub your board or block with mineral oil 2-3 times each month.

Sometimes chopping onions, garlic, or other strong odor foods may leave a smell in your wooden cutting board or butcher block. Even foods like strawberries may leave a stain. No worry! Simply slice a lemon in half and rub over the entire surface. The lemon will bleach and scour the cutting board. The odor and stain will be gone!
